We calculate column and beam capacities, foundation reactions, and deflection limits. The report is valid for the specific building geometry and material grades listed in the document. Any change to floor layout, mezzanine loading, or roof equipment requires a revised calculation.
Blueprints issued by Greglinais are construction-ready for structural elements only. They include framing plans, connection details, reinforcement schedules, and section drawings. Architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings are coordinated separately by the relevant consultants. Contractors must verify site dimensions and existing services before pouring foundations or erecting steel.
Greglinais provides engineering design and technical documentation. Site supervision, temporary works, shoring, and safety compliance remain the responsibility of the main contractor and the client. Our engineers can perform site inspections upon request, but those visits are advisory and do not transfer construction liability.
Material substitutions must be submitted in writing with mill certificates and test reports. We review each substitution against the original design assumptions, including yield strength, modulus of elasticity, and corrosion protection. Approved substitutions are documented in a revision note. Unapproved substitutions void the structural warranty and may require a full re-analysis.
Reports are valid for twelve months from the date of issue, provided no changes occur to the building use, floor loads, or applicable codes. After that period, or after any regulatory update, the report must be reviewed and revalidated. We also recommend a re-check if the site soil conditions differ from the geotechnical survey referenced in the document.
Revisions are issued as numbered addenda with a clear description of the change and the affected drawings. Each revision supersedes the previous version for the specified elements. Clients must confirm receipt of each addendum in writing. Unacknowledged revisions are not considered part of the approved document set.
